FToday we were fortunate enough to receive yet another day of sunshine providing is with breathtaking views on all sides of the snow-capped Bavarian Alps. After breakfast we boarded the bus and headed back into Gernamy to visit Obersalzberg. An opportunity for some of our students to experience snow for the first time. Above Obersalzberg lies
a complex of bunkers and other buildings used by Hitler and his ministry to coordinate much of the war effort. Which we were able to look through.
After which we visited Berchtesgaden a quaint German town perched in the alps. On return to Salzburg we enjoyed some free time for shopping and exploring.
