3rd day in Berlin and enroute to Salzburg.

Today we were treated to a sleep in and later the first laundry day. The very first time for many of the students. They handled it well. 

The students were very high spirited despite having done all their washing and and impromptu singalong broke out in the hotel, and subsequently on the bus. 

After boarding the bus we set off to Orienburg to visit the Sachenhausen Concentration camp. A very solemn and sombre occasion where students were able to understand even if only in a small way how these camps were run during and after WWII and some of the terrible atrocities committed there. 

On the way back to the hotel we were able to squeeze in some more shopping before we had to quickly collect out bags and get to the station to board an overnight train to Munich, where we changed trains bound for Salzburg. 

Not many photos from today due to the circumstances of so much travel and the nature of the Concentration Camp. Stay tuned we will try to post some video of the students singing on the bus.
